therapy for kids & teens
Support for the young humans navigating a world that feels overwhelming, confusing, or “too much”
If you're worried about your kid or teen and you’re not sure what they need next, you’re in the right place.
is your kid struggling, but not sure how to talk about it?
growing up is incredibly hard, and the world just keeps getting louder.
Maybe you’ve noticed your child withdrawing, melting down, shutting down, or becoming more anxious and overwhelmed lately. Maybe friendships feel harder, school feels heavier, or home feels tense. You want them to feel understood and supported—not pressured to be someone they’re not—but nothing you try seems to help for long.
You want them to understand themselves, feel confident, and learn how to manage feelings without falling apart.
My work with kids and teens focuses on slowing down, making sense of what’s happening under the surface, and helping them build confidence, connection, and emotional resilience in a world that asks a lot of them.
you might be noticing:
school difficulty or executive function struggles
low motivation, burnout, or emotional fatigue
identity development (gender, sexuality, self-understanding)
family conflict, communication struggles, or tense dynamics
anxiety, stress, or constant overwhelm
shutdowns, meltdowns, or intense emotions
masking, perfectionism, people-pleasing
social anxiety, loneliness, or friendship challenges

how i work
My approach is warm, collaborative, curious, and developmentally appropriate. I focus on helping kids and teens understand what’s actually going on inside — emotionally, neurologically, socially — and building tools that help them feel more grounded, confident, and capable in their world. We work on emotional regulation, communication, self-advocacy, and identity in a way that honors who they are becoming.
parents
what to expect
I collaborate with parents regularly so you understand what we’re working on, how to support them, and what’s happening in their internal world, while protecting the safe space and confidentiality of therapy. I help you translate emotional overwhelm, set realistic expectations, and strengthen connection through repair, attunement, and shared understanding.
Because this isn’t about “fixing them.”
It’s about helping them feel understood, supported, and connected — at home, at school, and within themselves.
